A series of interconnected wells attached to a single unit or multi-unit liquid ring pump(s) are placed in the soil.
The number of wells placed depends on the level of contamination and the area parameters
Groundwater and vapour are extracted using Liquid Ring Pump No. 3000.
Hot air or steam injected into separate wells may be required to volatilize the vapour the soil.
Groundwater and vapour are then separated in a phase separator.
Vapour undergoes hydrocarbon decontamination by either thermal oxidation, catalytic oxidation, carbon filtration or scrubbers, depending on the type and level of contamination, the volume of vapour and the availability of energy.
